Jacob's Thoughts About Robyn . . .
Robyn is a superstar at everything she does. She has a million friends, is an accomplished professional, and is an amazing chef. Robyn is also very dedicated to her family, whether it is sitting down to teach her parents how to use their computer or acting as a night nurse when one of our nephews was born to give her brother and sister-in-law a night to rest. I'm frequently in shock about how much she is able to accomplish in a day – from waking up early to go spinning or boxing, to thoughtfully representing her clients, to checking in on friends, and then making a restaurant-quality dinner at the end of the day. After 10 years together, she continues to make me laugh and she continues to impress me with her compassion for those less fortunate than us. I feel incredibly lucky to call her my wife, my tennis partner, my scrabble opponent and my best friend. I know that she will be an amazing, loving mother and I can't wait to see what the future has in store for us as a family!
Jacob is a kid at heart and is a magnet for both adults and children alike. People always tell me that Jacob has more friends than anyone they have ever met, and it’s true – he is an incredibly special person, a loyal friend and family member, and one of the most fun, caring, funniest, and loving best friends a girl and wife could ever ask for! Jacob is confident and ambitious in the workplace, but always puts me and the people that he loves and cares for first. He has an infectious laugh and loves to joke around, makes sure to meet up with his friends for a weekly pickup basketball game, will happily eat anything I cook for him, enjoys exploring the world with me, and always makes the bed in the morning (an act I am grateful for every day!). For all these reasons and more, Jacob is also going to be the best dad! I watch him build railroads out of blocks with our nephews and play peekaboo and bottle feed our niece, and I see in him all of the compassionate, kindhearted, and playful qualities that will make him a seriously awesome father!
